How Awesome is our God!

I am simply in awe of God's goodness for Catholic Kids' Day Camp 2010. So many amazing volunteers poured themselves out to help make it happen, and the Holy Spirit took care of SO many wonderful details, including good weather all 3 days!

As I kept passing around cameras to various helpers, there are quite a few nice photos, but I will pick a few favorites to give you a glimpse. As is always said...these are worth a thousand words!

You'll see plenty of nautical aspects in keeping with our Catholic Cruz: All Aboard the Sacrament Ship! theme. It was a meaningful play on words — Spanish "cruz" means cross, but we used it to mean a cruise ship.

Day 1 and all is well!

Praise the Lord for a blessed DAY 1 — Our Mother Mary, Star of the Sea, pulled a miracle for us today by defying all the 80% "severe thunderstorms and flash flooding" forecasts and providing sunshine instead. Alleluia!

We are rejoicing to bring the life and beauty of the sacraments to about 115 children and youth. Hearing them sing and seeing them respond to my theme song is truly humbling and heartwarming. And seeing the smiles on their faces as they take everything in to their young hearts and souls is priceless!

Sharing a few photo glimpses...

Please pray for good weather!

We are right around the corner from CKC! Please join in praying for GOOD WEATHER --- we have outdoor activities on the schedule, and right now rain is in the forecast for each of the 3 days. :( I trust that the Holy Spirit will truly take care of things as He has all along!
